WASHINGTON POST

Neither man responded to repeated requests for interviews for this article. But when Tim Russert asked Bush about Skull and Bones in February on “Meet the Press,” the president said: “It’s so secret we can’t talk about it.” When Russert asked Kerry last August what it meant that both he and Bush are Bonesmen, the Massachusetts senator replied: “Not much because it’s a secret.”

NEW RUINS

At some date prior to 1949, Samuel Miller’s son, George Douglas Miller, gave a building on the island to the Yale University’s Skull and Bones Society. This building was known as “The Outlook” and was built largely of stone with a wooden upper structure. It was reported to contain fifteen rooms and housed a valuable collection of antiques and books. The building and it’s contents were destroyed by fire in 1949.

The Skull and Bones Society currently appears to own the entire island however, of the original larger cottages on the island, only one clearly remains. There are at least three obvious ruins on the island. The NewRuins Deer Island Project seeks to determine the history of these ruins and the factors that led to their demise.

Who’s who on Obama’s new team

Robert Gibbs, as Communications Director for the Obama campaign, has long been the president-elect’s public face.

If, as US media outlets suggest, he is to take up a new post as White House Press Secretary, he will be the public face of the entire administration.

A southerner, Mr Gibbs worked for Mr Obama in his Senate office and served as a press secretary in John Kerry’s 2004 presidential bid.

He made frequent appearances on television during the 2008 campaign, and was popular with members of the press.

CBS News

(CBS) As opposite as George Bush and John Kerry may seem to be, they do share a common secret - one they’ve shared for decades, and one they will not share with the electorate.

The secret: details of their membership in Skull and Bones, the elite Yale University society whose members include some of the most powerful men of the 20th century.

Bonesmen, as they’re called, are forbidden to reveal what goes on in their inner sanctum, the windowless building on the Yale campus that is called the Tomb.

When 60 Minutes first reported on Skull & Bones last October, conspiracy theorists, who see Skull and Bones behind just about everything that goes wrong, and even right, in the world, were relishing the unthinkable - the possibility of two Bonesman fighting it out for the presidency.

Over the years, Bones has included presidents, cabinet officers, spies, Supreme Court justices, captains of industry, and often their sons and lately their daughters, a social and political network like no other.

And to a man and women, they’d responded to questions with utter silence until an enterprising Yale graduate, Alexandra Robbins, managed to penetrate the wall of silence in her book, “Secrets of the Tomb,” reports CBS News Correspondent Morley Safer.

Obama meeting with economic advisers, reporters

Vice President-elect Joe Biden will also participate in the session with the diverse group of economists, academics and business leaders who advised Obama during his campaign. They include William Donaldson, a Republican who headed the Securities and Exchange Commission during President Bush’s first term, and Robert Reich, Labor secretary for President Clinton.

Secret Yale Society Includes America’s Power Elite

President Bush has tapped five fellow Bonesmen to join his administration. Most recently, he selected William Donaldson, Skull and Bones 1953, the head of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Like the President, he’s taken the Bones oath of silence.

Yale Daily News - Goolsbee ’91 puts economics degree to use for Obama

In the spring of 1991, Goolsbee and his 14 fellow members of Skull and Bones tapped women for the first time. The campus buzzed with excitement, incredulity and exasperation as former Bonesmen locked the tomb and sought to reverse the decision.

Three years later, Goolsbee holds a position on Obama’s staff he never anticipated: chief economic policy adviser for a leading presidential candidate. In an interview with the News, Goolsbee painted a picture of himself as bound for academia ever since his days at Yale — where he graduated summa cum laude, finishing top in his major with a joint bachelor’s and master’s degree in economics.

Universal Pictures: The Good Shepherd

FPI - THE TITLE OF THIS MOVIE IS PROPAGANDA. THE CIA IS ANYTHING BUT A GOOD SHEPHERD(HERD SHEEP). THE MOVIE SHOWS THE CIA DUMPING TONS OF LOCUST ON COFFEE CROPS, TORTURING PEOPLE, DUMPING PEOPLE FROM PLANES AND MUCH MORE. SKULL AND BONES IS NOTHING SHORT OF SATANIC.

ASK YOURSELF — WHY WOULDN’T THE CIA DENOUNCE A PICTURE LIKE THIS?

Fleshing Out Skull & Bones

Many New England and Southern families in the “China Trade” sent their sons to Yale, and many were tapped into Skull and Bones. From Yale, Bonesmen went into and were very influential in the worlds of commerce, communications, diplomacy, education, intelligence, finance, law and politics.

Secrets of the Tomb

The men called their organization the “Brotherhood of Death,” or, more informally, “The Order of Skull and Bones.”

The secret society now, as one historian admonishes, is “‘an international mafia’ . . . unregulated and all but unknown.” In its quest to create a New World Order that restricts individual freedoms and places ultimate power solely in the hands of a small cult of wealthy, prominent families, Skull and Bones has already succeeded in infiltrating nearly every major research, policy, financial, media, and government institution in the country. Skull and Bones, in fact, has been running the United States for years.
