General Motors draped in the American flag and building cars in Communist China

GM is trying to compete. It builds in China because it can actually make money on the vehicles it builds in China. By the way, Toyota, Honda, et al do the same. If it can reduce it’s costs in the US, it will build more vehicles here. How can it do that? Reduce wages and health care costs in the US (for both active and retireed employees). That is the only way. It’s not rocket science. It’s called balancing the books.
